We believe the Bible is divinely inspired, inerrant Word of God — fully true, fully trustworthy, and the foundation for everything we teach and practice.
Scripture shows us who God is, who we are, and how we can know Him. It guides our decisions, shapes our worship, and anchors our hope.
In simple terms: the Bible is our authority, our compass, and our inerrant source of truth.
We believe in one God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is perfect, holy, loving, and completely good. He created the world, sustains it,
and rules over it with wisdom and grace.
God is not distant — He is personal, present, and actively involved in our lives.
We believe God the Father cares deeply for His creation and for every person. He rules over history, hears prayer, and shows mercy to all who
come to Him through Jesus.
He is a perfect Father — wise, loving, and faithful.
We believe Jesus is the eternal Son of God — fully God and fully man. He lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and will return again. Through His Blood we can have Eternal Life and Eternal Salvation.
Jesus is our Savior, our Lord, and our only hope. Through Him we receive forgiveness, new life, and eternal life.
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God and actively at work today. He convicts us of sin, draws people to Jesus, gives new spiritual life, and lives inside every believer.
The Holy Spirit comforts, teaches, guides, and empowers us to live out our faith.
We believe every person is created in God’s image with dignity, worth, and purpose. Every person of every race is created is worthy of respect and Chrisian love. We have the free choice to sin or not to sin. Because of sin, our relationship with God is broken and we cannot fix it on our own.
We are ALL valuable to God — and deeply in need of His grace.
We believe salvation is God’s gift, offered freely through Jesus Christ. We are saved by grace through faith — not by our own efforts.
Salvation includes forgiveness, new life, spiritual growth, and the promise of eternity with God.
We believe God holds His people securely. Once we truly accept Christ as our Savior, we can never fall away from that Salvation.
Our confidence is not in ourselves — it’s in God’s faithfulness.
We believe the church is a family of believers who gather to worship, grow, serve, and share the gospel. Each local church is led by pastors and served by deacons, and every member has a role in God’s mission.
Community Baptist is committed to loving people, teaching Scripture, praying faithfully, and serving our community.
We believe in the two ordinances that Jesus committed to the Church, Baptism and The Lord’s Supper. Baptism is immersion in water as a symbol of new life in Christ. It shows the world that a person has trusted Jesus. The Lord’s Supper was instituted by Christ for the commemoration of his death
These two ordinances should be taken seriously and administered until the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe Jesus will return personally and visibly. God will bring history to its rightful conclusion, judge the world, and establish His eternal kingdom.
This gives us hope, purpose, and urgency.
